I have modified the code. If you
(1) activate parental control in Settings and
(2) for existing adult addons - add 18 to the name of the addon (example plugin.video.pornhub18) in the /KodiLite/plugins folder - not in the zip file
the adult plugins will be hidden. In future all adult addon names will include 18.
To start with restart KodiLite and restart gui/enigma. Regards.

Can you please also make sure all plugins only include .py files, as said before including .pyo and .pyc and __pycache__ is not good.
I did repack everything for you, but you just deleded the files.

First of all you are adding 3 files, when only 1 is needed, so you are making the files bigger than they need to be.
Secondly, if you include a .pyc file then it's locked to that oe version, 5.0 .pyc files won't work in 5.1 and vice versa, not a problem if the .py is included, but if it was missed for any reason, then you will run into issues.
The __pycache__ folder creates yet another file that isn't required, so again makes the updates bigger than they need to be and some older python3 versions will use the pycache files, which could be outdated compared to the .py files, so could create issues.
Finally .pyo files are no good in python3 (as are .pyc no use in py2), so again it's pointless including them, when they will be created from the .py files.
In short, no .pyc, pyo or __pycache__ should be included as they are simply not required. -

Thank you. But I always include the .py files. Secondly KodiLite and the add-ons are relatively small for the new receivers and other boxes. Finally it is now only used for python 3 images. Also I do not have much time at the computer. Regards.
Suit yourself, just trying to save you some headaches in future, but never mind.
But if you are no longer supporting Py2 at all, then there is zero reason to include .pyo files.
Edited by pcd : I do not add them. They are there from earlier uses. No matter, I will delete them in future.
