The oscam goes to usr\bin with permission 755
While the softcam goes to var\keys

Tried in usr/bin and doesn't show in softcam manager. Put it in user/softcams where my current oscam file is and it shows in softcams but doesn't start

/usr/softcams is the correct location for openvix.
Did you change permissions on the new oscam binary to 755 ?
A restart is also required after changing permissions.

Just tried it again and still doesn't start.
I'd changed permissions before but not done a restart so this time I've restarted it.
I renamed file from oscam to oscam-11384 - would that matter?
