Now cant boot DB800SE HD clone

Hi

received my new BT infinity 6 hub earlier had problems setting it up more or less got it working, but had real problems getting an ip addy on the 800Se clone which i use as a server.

i shut the box down when trying to reboot with an ip now the box won't boot it brings up the ATV first boot screen then that goes off and nothing.

i've tried to reinstall the image but i can't get the box to display an ip address.

anyone any ideas please?

i wonder something like with the "no CA error" and see if i can force an image on.

I'm desperate here guy's please help.

1: it's not a boot loop it just wont boot

2: cant get an ip so no flash mode

3: clone

4: sim 2.10

No boss i know that the box for some strange reason box has no ip.

when i did try manual ip it wouldn't connect, and dhcp just wouldn't assign an ip

thats when i think i tried to reboot without an ip on the box

that's my only option if that don't work got to but a new box.

no mate as i say it's a clone so it's got to be the old usb to mini usb method, having problems with optiflasher wont do a thing but to be honest i really don't understand it, tried a different 2.10 sim same thing, now put in a A8P sim and got a "no ca error" so i think thats an improvement lol.

going to try japhar's dreamup a lot easier to understand, the only other thing is as i say it's a clone and had a clone image ATV 6.1 but i'm going to have to try to flash it with an original image.

i'm the orginal try evrything.

anyway i have one pal who has a spare 800SE and he's going to lend me that, and got another pal who's an expert on all things or at leaset so he tells me.

so he's taking my box reckons he can change the capacitor and put on the bootloader, and get the box working again.

anyways later today i should be getting a loan box, and hopefully ending this bloody nightmare.

think i've found what the problem was!

got a loan box from my mate turns out it's an original, sent my clone to him to repair.

so fired up the new box tried to put a new image on same thing just shows dhcp on the front display wont do a thing.

trying all sorts, but as i said yesterday a new BTinfinity6 hub arrived so i thought i'd set this up as well, things seemed ok but still i couldn't get an ip address on the box, eventually when all else failed i took look at the hub, i use homeplugs i noticed i hadn't done a reset pairing it to the hub "what a dope" paired the homeplug with the one for the DB and it works fine.

so the clone wasn't faulty after just need to activate the homeplug, what a f******g dumbo.

gotta try and contact me mate before he does anything and just tell him to connect directly with an ethernet cable lol
