Replace openvix with other firmware - Xfinity x2

I'd like to replace my vix image with something else.

What should I use so that I can mix IPTV and sat channels easily.

More importantly how do I install it?

What version of the Vix4E2 project works well?

The current version on the box 2.3 i have is pretty bad, and the plug one for iptv just don't work.

Any help or links on how to setup and configure would be really useful.
