How to update OCTAGON SX88 H.265 HEVC HD Firmware via USB Stick

    Firmware update via USB:
Format a USB Stick to FAT32 and copy the firmware on to it (OCTAGON_SX88_FW_v1.04.xx.mupg).
Insert USB stick into the receiver.
Power on the receiver.
Go to the receivers Menu settings - Firmware update: OK Button (PIN 000) - Update method USB - Start red button
Wait until update is finished. Receiver will reboot by itself.

Online Update from the Internet: 
Update Method Select update from the Internet and start with red button!

    I tried a few times with the compressed file thinking the box would extract it but you actually have to extract the rar file onto the usb stick for the box to be able to see the folder structure and install the update.


    Before the update, the box would not connect to the network and a green border appeared on the right side of the screen. Update solved everything.
