Just wondered if anyone had this model, I’ve had 1st gen gigablue quad for few years now thinking of an upgrade n price/spec on this seams good?
Also wondering is there much 4K content out there at the moment to make worthwhile also?

No not yet but would like one if they can sort out an fbc cable tuner for it.
4k channel's. ..I get about 10 fta on 13 satelites so I wouldn't by one for them lol

Not much in the way of 4K but it is a very good box. I am very pleased with mine and it runs CI+ cam with some images, i.e. HD Freaks. Check here for 4K.

was i wrong in expecting an upgrade in picture quality on SD with this box.

dont know about the gigablue 4k, but i have had a few boxes over the years....the difference in SD picture is nominal in most cases, bar the amiko alien, that box was brill with SD channels. (was about all it was good at though >,)
