Wetex openlec box (2nd hand box)

hi all, i'm new to this site. I have a wetek openlec box. I have got so far but cant seem to watch live tv. I have connected in to my wifi network. Must I download stuff from somewhere eles before I can start watching tv and movies. Also must I be connected to an aerial, some people have told me I must and others have said no? I would like to get the iptv & movies set up on it but need some guidance with this as I've never used this type of stuff before. any and all help would be appreciated.
