Is the Oscam web interface "baked into" the binary when compiled ? I've noticed some have FIles/SoftCam.Key (which is handy) and some don't . Or is there a separate file that can be updated on it's own ?

probably, the one without "softcam.key" area, is simple oscam, and the other is oscam-emu .

Yes, its compiled into the binary.

Depends who makes the ipk file, some people include the softcam.key, others don`t.
You can find updated softcam.key files here -> SoftCam Keys

That's what I thought but I have a working emu here and no softcam option under files.
From what master g said I think it was compiled with the wrong web if.
