anyone else got audio description on movie chans hd
i have the correct settings set as
Menu Button > Setup >system>auto language selection
Within this screen you should set the following settings:
Audio language selection 1 > English
Prefer AC3 track > Yes
Prefer AC3+ Track > Yes
Prefer audio track stored by service > No
sd seem ok
on a other note i noticed some tv shows when using showbox had the same issue
it's the whole network on vermin cable
No audio on ss main event HD
The audio pid is missing
on further testing the ac3 has gone but looking in the vlc stream codec it says a-52 aka ac3 ,not sure if its a fault with cable or something else

is there a way to manually edit pids as i have seen people that have got it working by doing this and if so how do we do it anyone or is virgin the issue here i have tried to stream to pc and i get audio so tells me has to be software in box or even audio frequency has been changed

i have a hd cable
again please dont ask what box it is

i set it up as it was doing nothing and the box is working fine on hd

reading on a other form a member had reflashed the zgemma with latest firmware
he then used
to chenge audio pids
said he has it working now
also on twitter etc folk saying that the issue is with vm so maybe it is
most folk are waiting to see if it does correct itself
its not vm tommy,, its people on vm forums fishing probs with zgemmas lol... it seems the issue is the audio pids as ive spent hrs on the box for last 2 days,, and when i goto audio and video pids and change in lamedb in bouquets it doesnt seem to even show the ac3 in audio tab,, ive done 2 new images today still the same,, the stream is there as audio when i use e-channeliser ,, and stream back to my pc from the box, audio works on sky sports main events hd perfect... so stream is there,, shows that its deffo 1000% software on the zgemma boxs,, as seems to be only zgemmas from what i can tell.. so i wonder if its how the audio is decoded via the box.
Its not just zgemma, i have 2 x solo 2 on atv 6.0 & 6.1 with exact same issue
How ever i cant seem to get the audio from e channelizer either
yes i think they are a issue on firmware due to new audio pids
i have checked audio pid and noticed they are 5 digits long on those hd channels giving no sound
yes folk have said they are no issues when playing on pc
eg i see disney novie hd pid is showing as 241
and when i check sports main event is is showing as 32899
s news hd showing as 33099
on the zgemma audio pids show as n/a
so like you yes it has to be a issue how the audio is decoded via the boxes .
same on solo4k
just fixed it i tried s sports main event
opened up e channelizer
edited audio pid to 32899
then played stream on pc sound came on tv as i played the stream
i then pressed audio button on the remote and opted for
1 mpeg English x
saved it and closed e channelizer
working a treat

sorry I don't know if it helps but this is the latest working channel info for those channels . Seems that maybe the receivers in question aren't capable of playing the AC3 option. The mpeg option I think will work if you can get your receiver to select that option. I dont know a lot so sorry for sounding mybe a bit daft.
Still no sound after edit pids open atv image
so video pid set to 109 and sound set to 131
yeah same here , followed instructions above and still no luck either. Im going to try a pli image later see if that has capability of playing this Ac3 A52 audio format . Ill come back to you all when I find a decent fix
ok guys has ABM configs been updated, installed a new image (HDMU) and ABM, updated configs on abm and all sound works, nothing to do, but cant stream with remote channel stream convertor, in fact echanneliser shows all services NA

so its the bouquets files that are incorrect not the lamedb?

not a clue, dreambox edit can see the bouquets and it looks like ABM has changed them
