Thank you master G, but should I select one that is specific for Dreambox DM 800 HD PVR or doesn't matter which one, enough to be SIM 2.01? Sorry again for my amateur question.

don't try to flash an image that was made for another model. Also check which bootloader you have, as you might need to flash the bootloader to use latest images.

Put the dm800 into flash mode. The bootloader version should appear on the front lcd panel.

bootloader version will also show on the webinterface flash mode.

Thank you very much both of you Master G and Compo for your replies, but being honest with you I do not know which is the flash mode, how can I set the dreambox on the flash mode. If you can please let me know how. Thank you both again in advance

With your ethernet cable connected to a router turn the power off to you dreambox.
Now press and hold the power on button at the side of the lcd screen keep it pressed and re apply the power till it displays an IP address on the lcd screen.
Now enter that IP in your browser and it enter it will bring up the fash mode screen youll find the bootloader version on that screen.

Hi master G, Compo and all other members!
My Dreambox is: DM HD PVR Clone. It uses SIM 210 C and Boot-loader version #84 (2011-09-02). Master G suggested to go for one of "DM800 Sim 2.01 SSL 84 images".
I can see two different things here: one is Sim 2.01, suggested by master G, where mine is Sim 210 C and the other thing is that I do not know what SSL stands for? If SSL has to do with boot-loader, than still mine is different one #84. Can you or anyone else to be a little bit more specific about which image can I choose for my Dreambox DM800 HD PVR Clone Sim 210 C, boot-loader #84, please. Thank you to everyone in advance.

2.01 and 2.10 same thing you can flash either.

Ok Compo but what about boot-loader then? All images I can see up there are type of SSL84, SSI84d, etc. The bootloader in my dreambox is #84, so still I do not know which image to pick up. Thank you

Any sim2 84 image will flash so 84d will flash any 84 image will.

Just to be sure you don`t get the no ca error i would recommend flashing the latest bootloader as well.
Place the box in flash mode > open a browser and first flash the bootloader > sim201_800HD_ssl84D_FOR_DRV20130607.rar (extract the .rar, .NFI is inside) > DON`T REBOOT.
Open another browser and flash the image -> OpenTS image 2.6 DM800 Sim2 SSL84D
Now reboot.

The bootloader file sim201_800HD_ssl84D_FOR_DRV20130607.rar that you suggested contains two files inside; Sim201_ssl84D.nfi and Sim201_ssl84D.bin. Now should I flash only the .nfi file or both?
Then you suggested Blackhole 3.2.4 DM800HD SE Sim2 SSL84D. Does this image work for my DM800 HD, because seems to be for DM800 HD SE? I absolutely know that I am bothering you with these questions but I am quite a novice. Again, thank you !
