Hi,
I do not know vuduo 2, but look /etc/tuxbox/config folder, may-be real cofig is there.:)
You also need the mg_cfg file.
Use the attached configs.
FTP configs to /usr/keys.
hi guys - trying the latest vix image with NAR fix on my duo2...thought id try mgcamd1.38, anyways downloaded 1.38 from vix feed....sent over the config files to usr/keys from above , with my details, restarted mgcamd1.38, but nothing is clearing..am i missing something .....? i have oscam working fine but havinhg problem getting this mgcamd1.38 to work..any help..ta
bump anyone....ive read that mgcam doesnt work with vix image ?
ive read that mgcam doesnt work with vix image
It doesn`t work on ARM based receivers, but is fine on MIPS receivers.
How did you add your details ? Give us an example.
my box is a duo2..transferred files to usr/keys..see attached (details edited for obvious reasons)..ive download mgcamd1.35 and 1.38 from vix feeds but no joy..
I compared the mg_cfg you are using with whats posted above and they are different. Try using the mg_cfg from above.
If you have oscam working, whats the benefit of using mgcamd ?
oscam too slow to change channels, around 4 to 5 secs on Hd channels, mgcamd was much quicker that i noticed on my blackhole image, which im waiting for with audio fix. ive tried the above and many others posted mgcamd doesnt clear any channels,
Open mg_cfg and look for this line L: { 00 } 192.168.1.8 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log
Change { 00 } to { 04 }.
Change 192.168.1.8 to the ip address of the receiver.
Save mg_cfg and restart mgcamd.
Go to /tmp folder and open the mgcamd.log.
This log should give you a clue as to whats going wrong.
sorry deleted log dint notice had some sensitive info in it...anyway will stick with oscam for time being until the new Blackhole image is released for vu+duo2. thanks guys.
