    I installed ncam 2.7. Now AFN 104,108,109 opens. Ncam 2.9 also works.

    I've made the changes. Pv channels do not open with oscam. It's not so bad I have to use ncam. But despite Your explanation, I do not understand why there are 5 types and why is better than 2.7 as in 3.1.


    I prefer the openpli at apenatv, but unfortunately it does not go with the pv, but I survive.

    there are a lot of oscam,ncam,gcam,cccam,mgcamd etc...

    in every newer version,there are changes and fixes. some of them are useless for some users,but "treasure" for other.


    now,about your oscam log,i see the "no matching reader". try to delete the reader,and let oscam re-do ot in next reboot. it is impossible to not work if everything is right...

    So far, I did not know ncam, so I did not want to replace the long-used oscam.

    Oscam also has several kinds. I'm trying to find an appropriate version, some of them do not even start on my box.

    like now channel Sports 24 HD NSS 7 at 20.0°W stopped working if there fix in next days from OSCam-emu Team and will be oscam "BIN" file only and it will be called Emu ver786

    as so NCam Team will take these new changes and compile new version and it will be called NCam 3.2 IPK file


    are sure you installed oscam-emu patched and not oscam-svn version?

    you can checked from your browser by entering Vu+SOlO4K IP 192.168.x.x:8888

    and clicked on Config and checked is there Stream Relay option or not

    I've previously installed this: enigma2-softcam-oscamemu-solo4k_11.384-FOR-OpenATV_all.ipk I'm sure i use oscam emu, because I've been watching pv channels so far with stream relay.

    I tried this: enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam.emu-11392_openatv_armv7ahf-vfp-neon.ipk, but did not install anything.

    Now I use this file: oscam 11392 EMU ARM V7.

    It's a mystery to me.

    if you are using oscam 11391 r751 and above,block your keys in softcam.key file ,restart oscam,go in the channel that you are interested and than check oscam log. it will give you different sid to use in the softcam.key

    now,if you will block it (and restart oscam) go to the channel,and check in the oscam webif (log) if oscam asks the same or different id for the key.if it is different,add in softcam.key the one it asks for...


    also,could you give an example of which channels?

    and,did you tried grouping them (as tha autoroll way)...?

    Look here for proper key file format:

    OSCam 1.20 rev 11209 emu with auto update for multiple PowerVu channels

    (read about groupid)


    Also, after editing the SoftCam.Key file, you do not need to restart all of oscam, it is enough to use the webif to restart the emu reader.


    EDIT: sorry, not restart emu reader, you can use the "refresh" button to "Refresh Entitlement" under "actions"...

    oscam-emu ignores the groupid when searching for keys. It will try all keys which match the SID. The goupid allows for two things, first to separate keys for channels with the same SID and second to know which keys should be updated when a new key is found. (As opposed to only being able to update the key for the current channel.)


    Note: when reading keys from the file, if a line with an already used groupd+sid is found, it will replace the previous key - so each groupid+sid must be unique.
