The file from post #11 is packed as .zip. First extract it with winzip or 7-zip.
Inside will be a .deb file.
FTP .deb to /tmp folder then run this command in telnet/putty dpkg -i /tmp/*deb
.deb will only install on dreamos images. If you are using openatv or openpli you will need an ipk file.

BA dont support oe2
but you can put cvs image on the flash and install BA on usb or sd card .and then you can install all images on your 900
oe2 like open atv or pli and dreamos like merline and oozoon

for using barry allen it's adviced to use the latest version of BA and also Latest (UNSTABLE CVS) on your dreambox
after installing barryallen you can Copy The Images to (Media/ba/backup) and if you have HDD the path is (Media/hdd/backup)
after that you can installing what you copied before via BA menu for each of them
the lastest Barry Allen is 12.66

Sorry for a nooby request ,what is UNSTABLE CVS,if you mean unstable images i have tried to install it but no success,i also tried latest Barry Allen is 12.66 But no success,so is my dm900uhd a sim 230?? it only accepts installing images downloaded from this website http://dreamnew.co.uk/DownList/5.html ,please need help,i tried too hard to buy this Linux STB, waiting for your kind angelic help&support,thank you so much in advance.

Ok if you want to install BA to Dreambox 900 firt you must install in flash one gemini image for DM 900 or other debian image (Dream elite ozoon etc.)then put one styck in usb and BA debian script in tmp and install from addons scan temp... in styck you must find BA backup ant put tere wich image want for dreambox 900 then from BA menu exract and boot from.
