Hi...i've got a dream 900 4k with a tuner multistream...i 've readed that in this box works blindscan but when i started it with opena tv 6.1 , an error come out..it says...."blindscan is not supported by this tuner (Si2166D)"

Seems quite impossible as the ranges are simply too big.
A "normal" blind scan will search each frequency for each FEC and horizontal/vertical,
meanwhile a multistream scan would mean this PLUS all numbers for Gold and Root.

I think alb misunderstood your question.
I've been to the end of the interwebs and back and can't ascertain if the dm900 has a functioning blindscan with the new tuners, the old tuners or any in between! Anyone that has one of these feel free to chime in with a definitive answer.

Yes. I have a DM900 with triple tuner.
Blind Scan works perfectly with DVB-S2 tuner.
I have also an USB TBS tuner which does multistream, but I wouldn't ask for blind scan on that tuner because of the reasons I said before

Nope. I didn't misunderstand(or maybe I did:-). The blind scan for multistream simply isn't possible because there are a lot of parameters and their combinations will take forever to complete.
It's just like blind scan works. It's kinda brute force for passwords. Everything depends on the number of combinations.
Just to make it simple:
For one frequency let's say 10200 it will check for available transponder for horizontal/vertical and FEC 1/2-9/10 QPSK/8PSK
For multistream there are far more combinations for one frequency
See that's the point, he wasn't asking about scanning multistream. He only mentioned it I think as a way of saying which version of tuner his box has (or came with) because not all tuners necessarily support hardware blindscan.
So just to clear this up... the triple tuner is the new one, right, dvb-s2x ?
Oh and I understand fully about the combinations involved in scanning multistreams. Almost a form of encryption if you had to guess at it.
sorry mate...i have just said..(reapet i have a dream 900 4k tuner multistream) that with the pathed images like openatv openheight...etc..etc.. blindscan its impossible to make.. . while with an ariginal images this blindscan Is possible....is this also for you ???

And it works perfectly in oatv 6.1 for blind scanning dvb-s2.
I have also an external usb tuner tbs 5925 that does multistream and blind scanning works perfectly
