Sky freesat 0963 needs emms?

    Hi everyone¡ i need some help...

    I have Sky white card UK caid 0963 working fine opening some channels in oscam.

    The card is showing no enties (is in red no enties)

    Question: Does freesat need updates or some kind of emms to stay active?

    Do i need to block any emms at all?


    I just like to go on watching these few freesat channels nothing more.

    Try setting your dvbapi as this in Oscam.conf


    [dvbapi]

    enabled = 1

    au = 1

    pmt_mode = 6

    request_mode = 1

    delayer = 60

    user = dvbapi

    read_sdt = 1

    Your configs works on internal reader no problem.

    On easymouse it was a bit more difficult to get it working but i changed mhz values to diferent ones till

    i hit the rite one.


    Here my reader:

    I ask coz as i wrote in previous post the card is clearing freesat channels even though is has expired.

    I run an 0963 card for around 3 years set at 600mhz without fail with an ftdi reader using a similar config to yours so to answer your question,,, yes it should be fine.


    I also ran 09CD and 09C4 caids on similar speeds in the past without problems


    I was even able to manually adjust the speed on the reader using the switches to 800 and 1000 mhz, i had to edit the cfg ofcourse for these speeds to take effect but it worked.


    I set the reader back to 600mhz tho as that was fast enough.


    You will also have to leave unique emms open for your card whether oscam is reading the tiers correctly or not because your card will fail,,, what a hack that would be ye... close updates and card works forever haha...not happening.

    Do you think one of these channels send updates?


    I ain't got any signal for the others.

    Your card will update on pretty much any channel mate so i would not worry too much about that side of things,,, even free to air/view channels will suffice...tbh even channels like racing uk which you dont===wont subscribe to should send emms to your card.


    I have included in attachment the server cfg i feel you should use for your 0963 card but if something aint broke then leave things as they are..


    You have also not stated which cam you are using to update your card?
