Enigma2 reception parameters

Hello! Does anyone know if i set fec=0 (auto) modulation=0 (auto) to satellites.xml with dreamboxedit for a specific frequency, then do a manual scan, find channels will these two parameters be autoupdated if there has been any change? Or should i do again a manual scan?
