Does anyone know how (what are the requirements) for 4K m3u8 streams from OpenWebif of Dreambox DM520/525 to a FullHD laptop? FullHD streams play flawlessly, with any media player but 4K streams do play but are slow and out of sync with audio. I have made tests with various media players and settings locally with wired/ethernet connection between Dreambox and laptop. Of course Dreambox DM520/525 is not a 4K receiver but HVEC/H.265 compliant, so 4K channels show no video but only audio on connected TV. Any ideas are welcome.
