  • Hi All,

    My friend sent me 2 N lines to put on my server which will allow my bedrooms etc connect to my oscam server. One line is for his German card which works OK, however the N line for Digital + on 19e does not clear pictures. My bedroom boxes say that they are connected and are seeing the N line but still no Digital + pictures. I have confirmed his N line is OK by putting it in a box and it works fine but not when I put it in my server. Here are my configs.

    Any ideas anyone.

    password = linuxsat2

    emmcache = 1,3,31

  • I remember years ago oscam had this loophole where reshare was wide open as it was not implemented into the software, its not something i need now but thats good news if they have sorted that codar:-)

    @hs5424 You havn't actually posted any configs,,,just reader info. infact no oscam version either of client/server.

    Also if you have not already done so you need to edit the newcamd.conf with new caid/ident and port from external server for M+ and then you should see CONNECTED in oscam?

    Seperate external opened ports are required for newcamd per caid if lines are sent seperately although CCcam via oscam does not require that.

    Also you can delete emmcache info from both readers as thats not required.

    Lets hope its a simple reshare issue buddy:-)

  • Thanks guys,

    Yes my friend has re-share enabled ok. I think it might be something to do with caid / id as johndeere88 has mentioned. My bedroom box ( amiko mini ) server says its connected but displays cw fail. I will take another look at the port and caid etc and report back. I thought that I did not need to open a port on my router if I am just sharing internal ???????.

    my newcamd. config

    [newcamd]

    port = 30006@098C:000000;30007@1810:004001,004101,000000

    key = 0102030405060708091011121314

    keepalive = 1

    mgclient = 1

  • You do not need to open an external port for internal sharing so i,m not sure if i got you confused there, if i did then i,m sorry.

    External ports are only required if you are intending to send each newcamd caid externally to your friends...ie one for sly/and one for germany etc although as i stated cccam via oscam sends all caids externally on one single external port providing the client has group access from your end !

    port = XXXXX@098C:000000;XXXXX@1810:000000

    It looks like you have added M+ to your newcamd.cfg and that should be ok..you can try what i have posted above which should allow hd at least but should not really make a diffrence to what you already have,,, again you have not posted configs.. make sure you are on the latest oscam available as there was some changes with rom 180 cards... your server friend should also be looking at this too.

    Also the ports you posted,,were they just for an example on here?...they look far too close together if so and also not a good idea to show them here

  • Thanks for your response.

    Ports and user / passwd displayed are example only. My oscam is 9584 and is on my pc. If I want to update oscam is it just a matter of downloading the latest version and replacing the old one and 755 etc.

    Update.

    I tried updating my oscam to 11396. I re-named my oscam to oscam.old and FTP'd new version to same location and named it oscam and chmod 755. Oscam runs ok but oscam interface displays r9584. Am I missing something here.

  • Thanks anniman,

    Found it. This is what it looks like. Do I edit this to point it to my oscam which is usr/local/bin/oscam. I see below it has -b at the end. Is this why my new version oscam is not starting when I try to install it.

    #!/bin/sh -e

    #

    # rc.local

    #

    # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel.

    # Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other

    # value on error.

    #

    # In order to enable or disable this script just change the execution

    # bits.

    #

    # By default this script does nothing.

    sleep 30

    /usr/local/bin/oscam -b

    sleep 30

    /usr/local/bin/cccam_2.1.3

    exit 0

    UPDATE. this part of the problem resolved.

    I removed the -b and now my oscam interface is displaying the latest version of oscam.

    Thanks anniman and the other contributors johndeere88 and codar for you assistance so far.

    Digital plus still will not clear but I now have confirmed that it was not the older version of oscam that was causing my problem. I will post the outcome in due course.

  • Tried for quiet a while but I cannot get Digital+ to share, Meo, Cyfra, Germany and my friends 0963 all on my server as proxie readers work 100% . My config's are as follows. I tried different ports just in case. I am using MGcamd in my client boxes throughout the house. My configs are as follows with user's, passwords and ports changed for obvious reasons.

  • OK.

    To calarify, are you saying that there is a startup script that is telling my server to run the old version 9584 and not the new 11396 version .

    How can I check the startup script.

    How do you not know this if you are running a pc server? did someone set this server up for you.

    Unless you are running a large server then an e2 box should suffice, thats what i use with a small server for friends and family, images for e2 boxes are more stable than ever with less crashes and the ram and processor in most of them are beyond the majority of standard home pc,s unless you pay mega bucks or build the pc yourself, anyway thats your call.

    Been a while since i messed with debian/ubuntu but as said in rc local then if memory serves its cd / var/bin oscam -b

    This will depend where your oscam bin is located and named tho.
