dead dm920

just received my dm 920 and it dont work.no lan but usb wifi works sometimes

was able to load sat xml file,though i could view na sats but it didn;t work either

purchased on ebay from italy not having much luck with the seller but it has only been4 days

any thoughts i could try while waiting for the seller to respond.. tried both browser and putty

method of re loading an image

flashing lights no on about 1 second at power up

no wifi have usb wifi works intermit

no image putty methon get rese timeditly after reboot

browser method never can get ip

usb wifi configures like any net just very unstable

lan nothing to configure just 4 color buttons at top

on side says active conection and menu

bottom right says press ok to disable thats all on that page

seen on a different forum an other way to use putty

will try t later if i can find it

one more thing can get in to ftp with DCC

if i remember there 3 files in the tarball. do you flash all or just one ?

what next reboot ? still writing data

done that part was windows two pages data

it is about 10 to 15 pages long if you know of a way to capture that be happy to try

rescue mode waiting for dhcp power button red

that is what i have all along

with power button can get rescue mode and waiting for dhcp

if i put sat.xml in /etc/tuxbox should i not be able to tune north american sats??
