Yes, that's exactly what I did.

I need latest oscam-emu version, with PV Autoroll for DM800HD se, NewNigma2, which has a complete config in / var / tuxbox / config.

Nop, these new versions have config files in / usr / keys !

It does not matter, I found it oscam-emu v.11273.

Everything is the same, only path is different.

This is useful when you have multiple emulators and two different SoftCama.key

What paths are different?

This might explain why the latest version posted for my VU Ultimo 4K wouldn't clear powervu. I didn't try Tandberg and Biss.

So I went back to a previous version that I knew worked.

The path where oscam-emu keeps its config and nothing else, irrelevant.

For the user, it's important only to know where to find the config to set it up and edit it.

Replace the complete new config with the old one, and if the oscam version is correct for your receiver, it must work.
