IPTV install DM800 se clone

Lets see if we can walk you through this again :)

You use Pure2 image and to install plugin there is 2 ways of doing this.

1. To upload the plugin packed as ipk file and use image ipk installer to get plugin installed.

2. use Putty and install through the script command

Option 1

Require that you know how to use FTP to send the file to your Dreambox

Do you know how to do that?

Option 2

Require that you know some about how to use putty and how to copy and past text in to putty

Do you know how?

Let me now what option you know how, and we will walk you through this :)

Okey :)

Then follow the steps in the code belowe.

Step 1

After you login with putty type the text from first line cd /tmp and press enter.

But you can copy and right click inside the putty window and then press enter

Step 2

After you have change to tmp folder you can of cause type all the text in line 2 and press enter

but you can also mark and copy text and then click with right mouse button in the Putty window

and the install command text shows up. Then press enter to run the install script.

That should install the plugin for you :)

cd /tmp
wget http://jam.japhar.com/download/addons/Japhar-addons-manager_5.2_DM_oe20_mips32el.ipk
opkg install --force-overwrite *.ipk

You do everthing right but

where it say:

dm800se login: you are typing password pure 2

type root instead and press enter

then you will be asked to type password, there you type pure2

After that do exactly as you have done so far and all will work just fine :)

You are so close my friend :)

When putty opens you have this line only type what i have higlight in green

dm800se login: only type root and press then enter button on you computer keyboard

The you get this line and only type what i have highlight in green

password: here you type pure2 and press then enter button on you computer keyboard

Now you should have an succesful login to your dm800se :)

Now you have a line looking like this

root@dm800se: here you type cd /tmp note that there is a space between cd and /tmp

Now you should have a line looking like this

root@dm800se:/tmp

From here you copy ony 1 line of the installscript at the time and press enter to let the script/installer to be finnished before

copy and run the next line.

Try this and see if you cant get it right now :)

Look at the screenshot and do as it say then we can take from there

when you manage to login with Putty :)

Download the attachment

Copy to a usb stick

insert into the receiver

follow on screen instructions
