everything i try in iptvplayer plugin is pixelated, choppy and out of sync

Hi,

just updated to version 2018.03.09.01 and it told me that external eplayer3 was dep (something or other,it was quick so didn't catch it) it offered an install(recommended) but since doing it IPTVplayer doesn't play properly, everything i try is pix-elated and choppy and out of sync, I have tried a downgrade to previous version but is still the same, Does anybody have any idea what has gone wrong?
