How can I install the tar.gz file in Enigma 2? Usually I use ipk-file? Every time when I try to install the file I got:
tar: invalid tar magic
tar: write: Broken pipe
And that was it..

the tar.gz needs extracted first with 7-zip. oscam binary is inside, send it to the receiver.
which image are you using ?

Once the tar.gz is extracted there is an oscam file inside.
FTP tp /usr/bin and look for existing oscam
Replace new downloaded oscam with existing file.
Change permissions on oscam to 755
Reboot.

If there aren`t any posted you have to wait for someone to make them or try making them yourself.

most on hdd or temp.. the problem is, that this file from above:
oscam-svn11401-mipsel-webif-oscam-emu-patched.tar.gz
isn´t as ipk file.. I tryied to install it with dream explorer - it doesn´t work. I have replaced the old binary file with the new one (renamed as the old one and attributes on 755) - it still dosn´t work.
So how can I change this file to installable ipk-format?

oscam needs to be compatible with the receiver. That file is for a mips CPU, which receiver do you have ?
