Just out of curiosity, why did you choose not to use the usual translation mode of enigma2?

What advantages does the mode you used bring?

Hi. Thank you. The plugin is great. But as I pointed out in the photo, you can change the color of these areas for more beauty. For example, add yellow and red (like vu meter).

Is it correct that during the selection of the reference city the skin proposes the same text (Cancel) for both colored buttons (see screenshot)?

About the translations, I am frankly perplexed about the method you have adopted.

Certainly the translation works, but the updates are complex and depend exclusively on the fact that you provide every time an updated template, not being easy to extract the strings from the source.

So I can't understand which advantages this methodology can bring, compared to the one already provided by enigma2 and which has been working for years.

Would you please explain me why you have adopted this method and which are the real advantages?

Sorry, I wrote in a hurry and I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear.

Sure, I know I can use en.py as a template, but:

I can't use a translation tool (like Poedit) , so:
no automatic update of the contents, but I have to check every time the whole file as already translated entries can be changed (and their order could be changed)
no pre-translation
no translation archive
no automatic checking of translations for correctness with respect to source strings (variables, capitalization, etc.)
in case of doubt, I cannot check the context via the source code (which is often important to understand what the string is intended to express) or better, I can check, but having to search in the whole plugin where the "Title XX" is...

So, from my point of view (as a translator) no advantages, only troubles.

That's why I'm asking you (as a coder) wich advantages do you have with this translation way: I probably don't understand because I have no coding skills.

Ok, people can use for this plugin a language different from that used for enigma2 (and other plugins): but for what purpose?

Of course, the plugin is yours and of course you are absolutely free to do as you see fit: I would just like to understand and point out that, with a non-standard and potentially problematic approach, it will be more difficult for others to help you.

No need for all these ...

1-I do that method because E2 translation locale files can not translation all menu of plugin . As the screenshot shown below ... The red area not translated

2-If I add new options or any new sentences no need to translation all file again ... no need also to open en.py file ...

I will add in all files the new sentences for example .. just example ..

Now you have in it.py in end of file these lines

So the problem is from your side ... You version image maybe damage .. try to update it.
