dream elite 6 and kodi

Has anyone here managed to get kodi to work with their dreambox? Im using dream elite 6 and kodi freezes up when i try to view a video then kicks me out to main screen.

I read on a german forum someone had the same problem and fixed it installing a python module

Does anyone know how or where to get this to fix the kodi? thanks Actually re-reading the thread the above was a fix for another problem. Any ideas? Or how to remove kodi and install a newer version. thanks

Forgot to mention I'm using dream elite 6 with kodi 17.4-rci from an image here that kodi was pre installed for dream elite 6 from june 2017 any help to get kodi working would be appreciated.

no one else had this problem here?
