  • I'm very new to Oscam, having only just got it working yesterday after months of trying unsuccessfully and I'm amazed how well it works. I don't really have any appreciation about what all the settings are for, but hopefully someone might be able to help me fine tune the configuration.

One error I frequently have is

No suitable readers found that can be used for decoding!

I have four C-lines and am currently running Oscam on FreeBSD. Tvheadend is runing seperately on a Debian Linux box.

  • Hi ! For sure somebody can help me. I have the problem mentioned in the thread. I have 2 Octagon boxes : 1 has a TIVUSAT original card and decodes the tivusat channel and the second one has a FRANSAT PC6 card and decodes the fransat channels except the 4K . i want to share the cards between both boxes and i am trying to use the Cs357x protocol. i don't have a clear idea of the settings to use and i am getting the " no suitable reader found for decoding". Both boxes are running Openatv 6.0 and 6.3. thanks a lot for your help
