https error messages

    With "Use the PyCurl for HTTP requests" ENABLED I get ,


    https connection error "SSL_connect failed with error - 326: record layer version error"

    it looks like your current configuration do not allow to connect to the https://www1.swatchseries.to/.



    With "Use the PyCurl for HTTP requests" DISABLED I get ,


    https connection error "<urlopen error [SSL:SSLV3_ALERT_ILLEGAL_PARAMETER] sslv3 alert illegal parameter (_ssl.c:661)>"

    it looks like your current configuration do not allow to connect to the https://www1.swatchseries.to/.


    Even with these 2 messages and setting "swatchseries" works.



    Also with "Use the PyCurl for HTTP requests" ENABLED, I cannot use a proxy gateway for "icefilms" I have to try and find a working proxy such as

    138.68.245.7:8080


    Have I got something set up wrong?

    These messages are releated to fact that your ISP block access to https://www1.swatchseries.to/ ?

    Normally IPTVPlayer try to connect to https://www1.swatchseries.to/ directly, then it try to connect via web proxy gateway

    http://securefor.com/browse.php?u to connect to this service.


    As I understand you do not like this messages, but these messages are true. The only thing I can do is to add option "Use web proxy gateway" with default vaule "auto" and you will be able to set it to "always".


    Regarding icefilms - this host does not have option to use "web proxy gateway" it allow only proxy server.

    So, what exacly problem do you have using PyCurl for icefilms. Because I do not understand what you mean?

    sorry, it is working, I was confusing myself with PyCurl and the need for a proxy or not with PyCurl on or off, my apologies for taking up your time.


    As you mentioned earlier, will it be possible in the future to not show the messages with the option you listed?
