Find attached an amended plugin.py file that will allow you to define the individual MAC addresses to be used in your portal URLs.

This enables you to easily change the mac address to anything you want, rather than just being your boxes set hardware MAC address.

Please note this is based on the oe-alliance version of qtstalker-v5 as can be found here.

How to use my amend

Install the stalker qt IPK as normal (i.e. from oe-alliance plugin extensions feeds)

Navigate to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Stalker/

Backup the original plugin.py (you have been warned)
Copy attached plugin.py over to this folder.

reboot GUI

My testing has been done with a config file. So create a new file on your external media device called portal.stalkerconfig

/media/hdd

or

/media/usb

edit this file by putting your URL addresses in it in the following format.

The new bit is the ?mac=

portal 0 http://domain1.xyz:7777/c/?mac=00:1A:79:00:BB:7C
portal 1 http://domain2.xyz:8080/c/?mac=00:1A:79:00:00:A7

save/upload config file back to your media device

Go into stalker setup.

Menu > Plugins > stalker setup

If you have used a config file, the blue button should now say "load settings" and display your current MAC address
(this will still work with manual entry, config file is quicker and easier though)

Press blue button to load your new config file. Click save.

Select the Portal you wish to use by pressing OK on it.

If the MAC address in the config file is different than the current MAC address, the MAC address of your box will be changed.

You can then go into Stalker (main menu or in extensions) and play this portal.

My VU uno4k doesn't have the option for stalker qt plugin but does have stalker client and in StalkerClient Configuration has the option to change mac address.

The VU one is not as good as the Zgemma or similat boxes, i personally dont use any stalker, happy with jedi.

PurE2 (not sure but probably all OE-A images, maybe even OpenPLi?):

> MENU

> Setup

> System

> Network

> Device setup

> wlan0 or eth0

> Network MAC settings

> press > or < buttons on your RCU to start changing/editing the current MAC address to your liking

> OK to set your new MAC address (wait....)

> Restart.

This was a way of doing via the stalker setup panel rather than coming out of it every time you want to change your MAC.

it runs simlpy thats all... so what do you think about blackhole für vu+ ??? i dont like atv, couse the support for vu+ is not good enough (i mean driver and etc)
