dm900 clone constant freeze recommendations please

I bought a clone dm900 from AliExpress TopChiStar Store, the box is constantly freezing only the sound works and i have to power off/on. I have tried many of the sim230 images to no avail, i have tried it without network, with disconnected HDMI cable and still same please comment on below suggestions:

1 - Assuming tuner issue, buy an original tuner and fix in the box but not sure if the clone image would accept it its about $100

2 - Wait until new images show and install assuming drivers issue

3 - Assuming sim issue buy a new sim card, not sure if an original sim can be obtained or should i buy a japhar sim

Highly appreciate any other suggestions

Be SURE you use the PSU that was provided with the box, that is 5 Amp... and not the old PSU that you used with your precedent box... often users do this way, and keep the PSU on the box, without replacing the old one as well...

Concerning the sim, as it's a clone you will have the Chinese Sim 2.30 inside, naturally if you want more support and a much larger list of images available, probably a switch to Japhar Sim could help. There is no "original" sim card for DM900UHD, they use only a chip that WILL and IS NOT COMPATIBLE with the hardware of the DM900UHD clone... only way to switch would be the Japhar Sim for you.

Yes I am using the adapter that came with the box

Try with another image and try another 5 Amp 12 V adapter, if you have installed an HDD, remove it for the tests.

Old bootloader? This is the problem. Chinese not made new bootloader and no one else.

Unfortunately i don't have another adapter but i have tried many images without success. No HDD installed

Unfortunately, from dreamboxupdate. There is no bootloader for dm900 clone. Only original. Try to read my experience with bootloader on jb8a8f8.com forum.

Check with a PSU of 5 Amp, yours could be bad,

ok i read your experience, but only for sure, the bootloader from dreamboxupdate may be compatible in clone without problem? and how update bootloader? with telnet?
