Vu solo recording problem

When i record on my vu solo box then playback the recording it freezes. Im using a 16gb usb. im wondering how can i fix it

Use an external HDD instead, you probably notice the freeze is worse on HD channels. You are not the first to ask this, nor will you be the last.

i have a sata3.5 80gb hdd and i want to put it in my vu solo. iv seen a kit that converts the sata into a external usb drive. im wondering will this kit work?

As long as it is externally powered yes it will mate.
