Hope somebody could please help me & ive posted in correct place:)
I have a vu+ solo 2 box & wanting a sub putting on it. I'm looking for a step by step guide how to do this as I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing so idiot proof ideally (last guy I paid to put it on, did it on then turned the sub off :((( )
It previously had a recording feature & epg. I'd be so grateful if someone could help me.

What format is the sub in ( iptv, c line, server details ) ?
Do you have any softcam installed like CCcam, mgcamd or oscam ?
Which enigma2 firmware/image are you using ?

If its an iptv "sub" link or m3u file use this plugin -> JEDI MAKER XTREAM (IPTV Bouquet Creator)
thanks, ive downloaded opena.tv to try n get the Jedi but when I put usb into box to try n re-flash it nothing happens??
Try flashing with a different usb stick or format it with the attached tool.
Make sure you have no HDD or other usb devices connected while trying to flash..

ive managed to put opena.tv & reflashed the box but when i go into software manager - install local extension- memoery/ tmp its coming up with the message No displayable files on this medium found? can you help please :dumb:

Did you send the .ipk file to /tmp folder on the receiver with an FTP tool like filezilla ?
You can also copy the .ipk to a USB stick, insert into receiver, follow these steps > blue button > plugins > ipk installer > choose usb device instead of /tmp

i unzipped opena.tv using winrar to the usb then put usb in box & it said update? it reflashed then comes up with that message when i tried to put Jedi on it? ive also tried the above & still comes up with the same message. Have i missed a part out?
Once the new image has been flashed remove the usb stick, or delete the vuplus folder from it. If you don`t, you will continue to get the upgrade message everytime you reboot.
Format the usb stick > copy the ipk to it > insert into the receiver > an on screen message will prompt you > follow the instructions > choose usb device instead of /tmp.
im just reflashing it again, sorry whats an ipk? & do i need to format the usb again after the box has been reflashed?

The jedi maker plugin i linked is in .ipk format. Most enigma2 plugins, skins, softcams come packed into an ipk file.

You can if you want, but you don`t need too, just delete the vuplus folder from it..
haha ok worth a try just that the last guy did it through anydesk. ok its nearly finished scanning the channels now so do i need to put the jedi on the usb from a website like i did the opena.tv ? (im so sorry)

ok thanks, think ive managed to copy link onto usb? ive put into box & its come up with installing software.........hope its right as its taking a while? its driving me crazy now lol thanks for all your patience
still says installing??? now ive noticed ip address unconfirmed too. Ive given up now....24 hrs later n im still no better off. thanks for trying though

It takes seconds to install a plugin.. Abort and start again.
Post the steps you are taking so we can pinpoint what your issue is.
Ive tried 3 or 4 times now & it’s just stuck on the picture & now I’ve noticed IP address is unconfirmed so not sure if that has anything to do with it. I don’t have a clue what I’m doing & close to tears - I’m that frustrated with it lol & to make things even worse looks like I’ve downloaded the opena.tv in German!!! As when I go into some of the menu cant tell what half of it’s saying ??

Change language by pressing Menu button > Setup > Usage & GUI > Language ( menu button > Konfiguration > Natzung und GUI > Sprache )
