Bought a DM500S recently. PLI Jade pre-installed with CCCAM 2.1. Trying to get my sly card to read in the DM. Generated a boxkey and DM read card fo a while but would not read my movies and sports (fully subscribed). Guy I bought DM from said that I would need Oscam to view my premium channels. Followed a guide on this forum installing Oscam. Got Oscam 1 on DM last night but would not read my sly card at all. Would appreciate if someone could point me to something on forum...newbie to this box and set-up (using mac and fetch as ftp software). Thanks in advance.

ok I downloaded the plimgr and ftp the extracted file to var/etc. Problem: It said to download the latest 'power pc tuxbox binary' from oscam site or 'HERE'. The 'Here' link only downloads desktop4shared and the I have not a clue where to go on the Oscam site, really am lost here.

thanks ten below. slowly but surely. got that file extracted it. just need to work out what file I have to rename as oscan and there are multiple files/folders in this file.

Do you rename the full extracted folder 'oscam-svn6618-powerpc-tuxbox-old-webif-libusb-Distribution' as oscam (1.5mb) and ftp the file to var/bin?

ok thanks, silly me put the whole folder i. will delete the folder, rename the code/file above to oscam and ftp the file to var/bin, change the permisson to 755 and that should be it done. Select the softcam oscan and the sly card should read...why do I feel it's not going to work : (

No joy after all that. Oscam showing up in softcam on DM500s. Softcam Channel: oscam-1.00, Provider: SSkB: oscam-1.00, Cardserver: oscam......resterted cardserver, saved and restarted car. went to channels blank screen, showing oscam top right menu but channels cannot be descrambled. When I go to CardInfo in Softcam Setup it says No cards inserted......confused. Dosr the DM500s clone have problem reading sly cards? Is it a problem with PLI Jade Image? After spending a few hours past two days, thought it would be straight forward enough...can someone help on this more please...advice appreciated...
