  • I am using ubuntu server to share around my house.
    the Formula 1 channel will not open on dm 800/vu uno/openbox when connected to server (all other hd channels that i sub to ok).
    however if i put the card directly into the receiver then F1 channels work ok.
    I have updated the oscam file to the latest but still no go.
    any ideas please ??

  • this is my ecmwhitelist = 0963@000000:3E,42,44,45,47,4E,F4,53,54,61,62,68,69,6A,6B,B6,6D,6F,71,72,73,77,78,79,7A,7C,7D,7E,80,8B
    in oscam server

  • I think the path for the Oscam config files in Ubuntu are - /usr/local/etc - the file you need to edit is oscam.server, and in this file, there might be an entry for 'ecmwhitelist=' on the reader entry for your card. If you hash out this line, and also if there is a line in the same reader entry that starts with 'services=' then also hash this out. You could try one at a time to locate what one is causing the issue, it could even be both. Once you have found out the issue, then you need to take action to add the right entry in order to add to the whitelist or services.

    If you have enabled Oscam webif, then you can find out what to add to the oscam.services file or the ecmwhitelist. To use the webif you need to enter http://yourserveripaddress:8888 - and then add the username and password that you have set in oscam.conf for webif.

    When you select a channel, you will see something similar to this on the logs that appear on your status page on webif

    Code
    2012/02/04 23:38:12 ABC123 c jsc (0500&042400/[COLOR='#FF0000']20FC[/COLOR]/[COLOR='#FFFF00']52[/COLOR]:9827): found (303 ms) by upper_slot

    above is an example for a channel on JSC sports so don't copy from the above - just use it to know how to find the ones you need.

    Select the F1 channel on your receiver.

    The part in red for the F1 channel needs to be added to one of the entries in oscam.services that referrs to a service you have active in your card reader entry in oscam.server under the 'services=' entry

    the part in yellow for the F1 channel needs to be added to the 'ecmwhitelist=' part of the reader entry for your card in oscam.server.

    Once you have done the above, then unhash the entries in the reader entry for your card in oscam.server, and restart Oscam.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • this is my oscam server. appears i dont have these lines installed.
    [reader]
    label = ***uk
    enable = 1
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
    caid = 0963:000000
    # 0963 is *** UK.
    boxid = ********
    # Oscam can read a *** card i.d, but you can also put this
    # in manually
    detect = cd
    cardmhz = 357
    #mhz=686
    # this helps the card run more smootly
    group = 1
    # Oscam has the concept of groups. Only users in group 1 can
    # use this reader. I'm only using one group.
    emmcache = 1,1,2
    ecmcache = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    # these ensure smooth decrypting
    #lb_weight = 101
    # for load balancing - can be commented out.

    would this prevent F1 channel from opening?

  • assuming you have got this sent to CCcam, how is this configured in oscam.user for the account that you send to CCcam?

    Also if you flick to the F1 channel while on the status page of webif as I just described, post the output on the logs.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • thanks for replies this is my oscam user file.

    [account]
    user = test1
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    pwd = test2
    disabled = 0
    uniq = 1
    group = 1
    au = ***uk
    caid = 0963:000000

    and this is from webinfo when I change to F1 channel

    2012/04/24 19:36:25 92341A0 r [videoguard2-reader] classD3 ins54: status 90 00 = ok but cw=00 -> channel not subscribed

  • nothing in the that that would stop it.

    have you updated your channel lists so you have an up to date satellites.xml file and bouquets?? - also you can hash out the boxkey part of your configs because Oscam can read this from your card so is not needed. You said that you can get it on your sly receiver, so you should be able to get it in Oscam. Have you tried in your receiver recently - if not then the entitlements for the channel might have expired. The part of the Oscam output you posted had no reference to any service, so are you sure you posted all of the outout from when you switched to the channel?

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • thanks again for reply.

    I have tried it this afternoon both in my original sly box and also if i put the card in either my dm800 or vu uno then the F1 channel is working.

    this is all of the output from my webinfo when i change to F1 channel.

  • not sure - seems that Oscam isn't recognising the entitlements you have for the card so something is up

    As you don't need boxid in Oscam for sly card, hash out that line in the reader entry that refers to boxid

    also hash out 'ecmcache=1'
    and change 'emmcache = 1,1,2'
    to 'emmcache = 1,3,2'

    restart server

    might not make a difference but worth a try!
