Yes you can. A8P sim card can also use images built for original dreambox models.

autobouquetsmaker will install on openpli, which is what open vision is based on, so it should install.
i`ve no idea whether they have it in their feeds or not as i havn`t tried this image yet.

I've found the ABM in download addons but it says there isn't enough room to install the addon ?
Also there is no MGcamd in the list of downloadable softcams.

PurE2 new lease of life for old DM800 HD SE and DM500 HD

Use mgcamd that was made for openpli, you can find it on the forum.

I have had a look at the PurE2 link and it looks like it may be exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm always keen to have a play around and learn more with regard to using Filezilla and other methods of keeping my faithful old DM800 SE in usable service.
I will definately flash the PurE2 image into the receiver as soon as I have a little time to play around with it and will report back to let you know how I have gotten on.
