I have flashed the purE2 6.2 build with 2 partitions on my zgemma h7s, in the second partition I have installed purE2 6.3 image which seems to have a marginal advantage over 6.2 with memory usage. As I like to play around and try all images can I flash over the top of the original 6.2 image (retaining the 6.3 image in second partition) and still maintain the 2 partition set up, or will overwriting the original 6.2 image take me back to a 4 partition set up. Any help appreciated

It depends on which image you use and how you flash it...
If it's 4 partitions typical image flashed via USB stick - all will be gone...

4 partition typical image, local on usb using flash on fly from the current 6.3 installation.

Still prefer 6.2 to 6.3 when last tried a while ago.
I think the 4 partition version would overwrite the 2 partitions if flashed to slot 1. best backup what you have first.

Indeed, 6.3 needs to be worked on...
