    OScam is running and I am able to see the web interface but no DVAPI But I am not sure about the reason, maybe I never used the sat tuner so I need to configure it first!

    Yep NO dvbapi connected also after restart. Sat Tuner works fine, it is an Philips OLED903, my first sugestion would be to get root acces ?

    Hello. I have problems entering OScam on Uncorex decoder, it gives me error 403 Access Denied. you solved, can you tell me something more x be able to enter? Thanks

    Interesting reading. If this gets off the ground on android TV i suspect that there will be a surge in Sony and Phillips Tv sales this year. 😆


    so for those trying to get this to work, what boxtype has been tried in the Oscam.conf

    maybe is worth trying all of them manually ? (One by one of course)

    And I see some people comment that there is no dvbapi service running on android tv but how could that be. What service is then processing the dvb stream.

    I then rather suspect that there is a root access problem to dvbapi service

    Looks like this is a root problem. When going thru the log files from oscam it looks like it’s missing several read and write permission on Android tv. Using google I find that this is a problem that’s not new and several people have tried to overcome this. And to make it even harder google patches all android tv root exploits they discover every time you update your tv.

    yes but I think all info in the dvbapi is part of oscam and not info from your tv. You can try and delete it and see if it reappears after reboot. Do you have console or telnet/ssh access to your tv.


    I use oscam myself on dd-wrt router as server and use diablo WiFi as clients on several tv’s thru the CI+ interface and it works great but Getting oscam to work as a client would be even better, but I don’t think we will get Access to the dvb streamer in Android tv.


    I have several Phillips and Sony android tv’s but previous experience tell me it’s difficult to get proper access to the OS. if you see in the oscam logs posted over here you can see that oscam doesn’t even get access to the /proc/stat which is not a good sign

    install

    u5-hioscam.apk

    start oscam manager

    in tv apss make directory- oscam install (on the tv-root folder) NO NEED ROOT TV -working without root!!!

    in oscam install directory put "oscam" file

    in second config directory you need add oscam config files...

    connect to tv from computer- you can edit and add files directly to TV- OSCAM FOLDER and edit files!!!

    in my oscam config - you need add your sharig data - user and pasw


    Oscam working- but can open and connect to dvbapi- i dont now -how need to doo with this!!

    . How do we get to put the configuration files in these directories? What we edited directly in oscam to the reader appear as a functional reader and are appeared in oscam server but it does not open anything.

    How and with what do you get in those directories to be able to add configuration files?
