    Hello,

I have a DM8000HD PVR Box, with OPenPLi 7 installed.

To check the status of the CLines I installed "CCcam Info v1.3c".

Now, with the new version of OSCam 11517-r795, I do not need CCcam (2.3.2 or 2.3.8).

    #

I then tried uninstalling "CCcam Info v1.3c", by the usual method: Plugins »Red Button.

"Uninstalled" without errors. I rebooted the box.

    #

Clicking the Blue Button, the "CCcam Info v1.3c" appears in the menu.

In Plugins, there is "CCcam Info v1.3c" as well.

    #

By clicking on "CCcam Info v1.3c", the box freezes; must be disconnected from the mains and then on again to restart.

    #

I do not know what directory she are in.

Unfortunately I also do not know Telnet Commands to uninstall.

    #

I come to ask for your help.

    Thank you.

  • So, try into the Shell / command-line:

    Code
    opkg list-installed | grep cccam
    # find your cccam-info package in the list and use its name:
    opkg remove <package_name>

    # for example:
    opkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-cccaminfo

Please copy any possible command-line errors here. You can also use the --force-remove argument (more info: "opkg --help"), but first I want to see a possible error message to avoid damaging the system using the "force" argument.

    Hello @s3n0

The "leftovers" of the uninstallation is there.

But the search says it does not exist ...

    DCC - Telnet:

    root@dm8000:~# opkg list-installed | grep cccam

    root@dm8000:~#

    root@dm8000:~# opkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-cccaminfo

    No packages installed or removed.

    root@dm8000:~#

    How to proceed?

    Thank you for your help.

  • I don't know this cccam add-on. Maybe it's just some SKIN extension or Info Panel plugin extension. Or is it some irregular non-standard IPK package :).

Do you still have it installed? Still freezing when you want to use it ?

Please try this ... and show the output of this:

    Code
    find /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins -name "*cam*"

    opkg list-installed | grep cam

    Hello @s3n0

    This is the plugin:

    enigma2-plugin-extensions-cccaminfo_svn-3385-r0_mips32el.ipk

    #

I uninstalled normally: Plugins »Red Button.

What there are are remnants of the installation.

    Wait.

  • OK, delete whole "CCamInfo" folder and reboot the set-top box.

    rm -r /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/CCcamInfo

Or connect via FTP client to box (for example Total Commander's FTP client) and delete the specified folder via FTP connection.

    That's all.

This CCamInfo is probably not installed as an IPK package on the system, but only as an update to some other component. Or is the damaged IPK installer for this "cccaminfo". I really don't know. However, you do not have it in your installed IPKs, for the unknown.

Or leave it there because it doesn't matter. It doesn't take so much space on a flash drive.

BTW, you have an incorrectly set font or something similar (space between characters), in your terminal or in PUTY, or what you use to connect to a box.

    Hello @s3n0

I ran the Telnet command with the DCC and deleted the folder as you indicated.

    Full success.

I rebooted the box. There are no mistakes.

    The plugin is gone.

Thank you very much for your excellent help.

    Hugs
