    opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

    or

    opkg install --force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk


    OE2.5 DreamOS:

    dpkg -i /tmp/*.deb

    or

    dpkg -i --force-overwrite /tmp/*.deb




    Remove:



    OE2.0 enigma2:

    opkg remove enigma2-softcams-gcam-all-images

    OE2.5 DreamOS:

    dpkg -r enigma2-softcams-gcam-all-images

    Added the Label GCam

    Gcam, Ncam are just other variations of the unprecedented OScam emulator today. This is just the view of me as a user, and it's only for users to decide which version of the emulator will be best suited to them. In any case, the emulators are doing great. And all the praises to the author - has a plugin emulator

    Changed the title of the thread from “Gcam DEB and IPK For All Images ~ ARM and MIPS Receivers” to “Gcam For All Images, ARM and MIPS Receivers”.

    I am trying to uninstall gcam all packages from my newenigma2 image. However, even though following the above command all is still there...


    Do I have to use a force remove command?

    Use this commands by telnet

    OE2.0 enigma2:

    opkg remove enigma2-softcams-gcam-all-images

    OE2.5 DreamOS:

    dpkg -r enigma2-softcams-gcam-all-images

    I did that but in folder /etc/tuxbox/config, I still have the files even after rebooting.


    And in softcam menu it is still available....


    The same is happening to uninstall cccam 2.3.8. Cannot understand why...

    The folders you have left will have to be deleted manually over FTP. To delete softcam in softcam menu look into etc/initd folder.

    After using telnet, I usually check if there is anything left and then delete manually.
