  • Hi guys... I am a long time lurker but not frequent poster, but hoping someone can help me.

I want to make my own mag 322 firmware to try and keep us all ahead of the new shenanigans that are happening with firmware.

but I need the older rootfs stuff for the mag322. Infomir have removed all traces of the previous image build stuff that could be patched, so I am looking to see if someone has it and can pass me the build stuff needed. I want to build rootfs-2.20.08r2 version which is what throwawayicus based his on.

Infomir have released a newer version for 322 image and it has been nobbled again and they have messed about with it.

they have removed all traces of the things needed to build rootfs-2.20.08r2

Hoping someone saved it before they removed it. Do any of you firmware builders have it? Nepose maybe? And would be kind enough to help me out?

Fingers very much crossed :fingers crossed:

  • Hi Phil,

    Thanks for the reply.

The Mag boxes are fully open source. You can compile your own firmware for it, they even encourage it and give you all the tools for it:-

It is one of the beauties and underused parts of the Mag ecosystem.

I just need the previous source files for the 322. This is the current one:-

But I need the previous one (not the July 2019 one as is now the only one listed on their site)

    Cheers
