Problem with EPG in Persian Channels

    since I have bought VU+UNO4K SE and using openatv 6.3 image on it, I have problem with epg specially in Persian Channels such as IRIB category on Badr Sattelite.

    I tried to use farsi font (Such as Vazir and etc.) and transfer them to receiver font folder,but the the epg is not working on Persian channels.


    what do I have to do?

    Fonts are set in the skin you are using.

    usr/share/enigma2/[skin folder]


    You then need to copy your persian font into the skin font folder.

    Then you need to open up skin.xml from the skin folder.

    and edit the reference to a "replacement" font to your new font.

    And I don't think your will get non english EPG descriptions, unless the EPG is provided originally in that language.

    There is no language conversion for EPG.


    You can use a 3rd party plugin to translate EPG on the click of a button.

    The epg that is provided by persian channels is in persian channel and I am from Iran.


    I don't need any plugin to translate the peg.


    Please help me to how to edit skin.xml file?:cool1:
