How to "flash" a Dino... and his brothers and sisters...

    Ihr möchtet eine andere SD Karte Karte Verwenden oder E2 Startet nicht, hier gibt es die Lösung:


    Vorbereitung:


    1) Vorbereiten USB Stick , Format mit FAT32

    2) Downloaden des Image von hier. openATV Nightly Downloads

    3) File entpacken und den Ordner dinobot auf den USB Stick kopieren

    4) USB Stick an einen USB Port an der Seite einstecken.

    5) Box einschalten und wenn im Display "Menu" steht an der Fernbedienung die Taste Grün drücken


    nun wird das Image Installiert wie hier im Video:"



    So, a usual job, except...


    -when you plug in the power cord you will see MENU on the front display (LED)


    -press the GREEN button on your remote control and wait for it to be finished...


    I just got HiTube 4K COMBO (4K HDR Ultra HD) STB, which is apparently the same HW (it uses the same image) as Dinobot u55...

    DINO, IZIBOX, MAXYTEC, HITUBE (as far as I "know") are all the same, more or less...


    I use PurE2 for it and you can find them - v. 6.2 and 6.3 - here (in various sections - if none is available for your machine, use an equivalent Dinobot one):

    So, after a while, I flashed my HiTube 4K Combo (the same as Izibox One 4K or Dinobot u55) with our latest PurE2 v. 6.5...


    Guess what....?!? ALMOST EVERYTHING WORKS!!!! I had problems with HbbTV in this box but all the rest of FNC plugins are fine!


    We made a huge progress with this box, when we started messing with it... It seems drivers are better now, too... :)
