download K7-ota-V2.20191015.113941 from my previous post (As usual puts the firmware zip file in external USB).
then go to recovery menu (insert toothpick in AV hole 'reset menu button' + power plug) :
then choose Apply update from EXT :
Locate the firmware - external USB in zip file format.
thats it :)

I bought the Mecool K7 last month.
i have issues with the DTV Channels, Channels work ok for a while then they start to stutter in a slower frame rate.
Other times when i click on the Dtv app i get " Can not detect demod tuner "
I have to power the box off and on again to get it working again.
I ran a factory reset and updated the firmware to K7_AVL6862-PPR1.180610.011-V2.20191015.113941
Does anyone have a solution,
