    Buďto sa jednalo o nejakú dočasnú chybu, ako je napr. aktualizácia datového servera Ellano.sk (Picon.cz website)... alebo buďto sa jednalo o nejaký problém s VPN sieťou, čo je asi najčastejší problém.


    Ja som však niečo už "vyrábal" nové v kóde pluginu, aby algoritmus dokázal ohlásiť aj konkrétnejšie o čo sa jedná - v prípade že sa poradí súbor stiahnúť, ale jedná sa len o HTML kód a nie o reálny 7-zip formát súboru. Takže neviem prečo to nefunguje :-D. Ledaže by si používal staršiu verziu pluginu.


    Tiež by si mohol aktivovať nejakým spôsobom v tvojej Enigma2 ladiací režim (v každej Enigma2 môže byť iný postup ako to aktivovať) a potom mi poslať vytvorený debuglog súbor, mne priamo do súkromnej správy. Snáď v tomto súbore, bude viac informácií o tvojom probléme.

    However, I already "made" something new in the plugin code so that the algorithm could report more specifically what it is - in case the file can be downloaded, but it is only an HTML code and not a real 7-zip file format. So I don't know why it doesn't work :-D. Unless you are using an older version of the plugin.


    You could also somehow activate the debugging mode in your Enigma2 (in each Enigma2 there may be a different procedure to activate it) and then send me the created debuglog file directly to me in a private message. Hopefully in this file, there will be more information about your problem.

    installed the plugin on my Edision OS mini 4K with OpenPli 8.3. It works perfectly. I use the XPicos 220x132 in transparent with the MyMetrix HD skin.


    I also would like to use this plugin for managing the picons on my main box VU+ Ultimo 4K with the VTI 15.0.2 Image with the Metrix FHD skin. The plugin works also, but unfortunately the plugin does not support the picon size of 330x198. Would it be possible to add this size please?


    I tried the size of 400x240 but that looks so ugly.

    Why exactly do you need a resolution of 330x198 ? A special type of LCD display on the box ? Or what exactly ?


    I don't know and don't use VTi 15.0.2. Theoretically, it should be possible to use any other picon resolution. Then the VTi algorithm should be able to transform the picon resolution to a larger or at least a smaller one (the old Enigma2 couldn't do this). Or not ?


    Is MetrixHD SKIN part of VTi 15.0.2 or did you install it yourself ? MetrixHD SKIN is also used as the default SKIN in OpenATV. Why don't you use OpenATV enigma2 instead? There you can set absolutely everything through the SKIN configurator - in the built-in MyMetrixLite plugin. MetrixHD SKIN in OpenATV can transform small or large picon resolutions itself. In the configurator you can also set the scaling (quality) of the picons when changing their resolution. Your Edision OS mini 4K has a very good CPU so it should not slow down OpenATV at all.


    VTi 15.0.2 is outdated Enigma2. I do not recommend using it on new set-top boxes. VTi is no longer being developed. It may still work, but it is starting to be outdated.


    If you write that the picons are ugly after transformation... there can be many reasons. Is the SKIN resolution and also the video output set to the correct - i.e. high resolution ? Or do you have something other than 1:1 HDMI input display mode turned on in your TV ? The chipset in the TV itself also scales (improves) the image on the HDMI input. And even then, image distortion can occur (in this case, picons distortion).


    Adding a new picon resolution is a lot of work. Only Chocholousek takes care of the picons. Me (s3n0) ... I am just a plugin developer. The plugin works by downloading already prepared and designed picons. This means that the plugin does not transform these picons to the correct size. This is so that there are also separate 7-zip packages on the internet, for free download from the website (https://picon.cz/ - Chocholousek's website).

    -the console is black.. not show timer event
    -not work buttons for exit from console.

    From telnet i have see and the plugin work.. but for update picons at the end i reboot box..

    Black screen hm... I don't know what it looks like at all. It could be anything based on what you write. For example, a problem with scrolling the window. Or creating the Screen layer could be a problem. Hard to say. It depends on what firmware you're using - Enigma2 distribution and specific version.

    Which Enigma2 firmware are you using and which SKIN ?


    Some Enigma2s and their SKINs depend on a specific picon resolution and also on a specific location of the picon directory.

    The folder "/usr/share/enigma2/picon" works well for example in OpenATV and a few others. The root folder "/picon" is probably much more popular. You can also try this folder. Alternatively, try looking on the web which folder and what resolution the SKIN you are using requires.

    Then the only problem will be the resolution... because Warder uses 150x90 resolution.


    Some Enigma2 or SKINs simply need a special icon size - with a specific resolution. Especially for the Infobar, for the channel list and for the front LCD panel on the set-top box. However, I don't know the folders where these icons belong.


    Each Enigma2 or SKIN has different requirements. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them in the world... and it would probably be useless to make an automatic path table for icons for this purpose. Mostly users redirect icons to where they need or want them themselves.


    If 150x90 picons still doesn't work, try placing the picons in a different folder. I found on the internet, for NewNigma2 firmware, the following directory paths ( https://www.enigma2.net/tuto-h…ns-on-newnigma2-dreambox/ ), so, please also try these directories:

    I still can't find out exactly what Enigma you're using. I don't know the version. I don't even know the exact name of the SKIN.

    This size has proven to be useful for me as I switch between the default skin and others, such as HD Glass 17. But rather than the size of the picons, I see the problem in the path to them.

    I personally use the last experimental + GP4.2 as Image.

    Hi. Have you tried changing the pixel resolution ? Some algorithms in Enigma2 or SKINs, even if it seems funny to you, unfortunately cannot automatically transform the PNG pixel size to the required resolution. :)

    The same plugin with the same image on the same device with same pixel résolution worked perfectly last month...
