Octagon SF8008 CCcam installation

    Hi, I haven't got much experience, so far been useing zgemm star 2s, my mate set it up for me and all I was doing was swapping CCcam.cfg once a year and updateing software.


    Recently I bought Octagon SF8008 got FTP connection CCcam.cfg and enigma2-softcams-cccam-all-images_2.3.2-r1_arm-mips_all.ipk installed


    and I'm stuck :head banger:


    I don't know how to make it work, not even sure wich folder use for CCcam.cfg and how to start softcam can't finde it in my software (openatv 6.2)


    I need some guide step by step if possible :thank_you2:

    I wrote a step by step guide on installing openatv and softcams a few months ago.

    It's the same method for all enigma2 boxes.

    Have a read it may assist you.

    only problem I have now is Netflix plugin I can login and serch but error message appear after film choosen: browser no longer supported error code: C7121-3078

    First you have to write exactly what you want to know. What exactly you have a problem with. Can't connect to the softcam server? Do you want to create your softcam server? What is displayed in the CccamWebif LOG records (Web-GUI that you open through any web browser).

    I didn't quite understand your question. Where is the problem ? Can't find the right directory for Cccam configuration files ? Usually there is default folder as "/etc/keys/CCcam.cfg", but can be changed for some Cccam installations - e.g. "/etc/CCcam.cfg" or "/var/etc/CCcam.cfg". You can also find the right path to configuration files in the Web-GUI, which you can open in any web browser (http://IP_address_of_your_set-top-box:16001).
