astra fails to tune in

    Hi I have a h9 2h on pure2 6.3 and I have just lost the sat channels, signal finder is not finding the signal, it was working great and its not the sat cable as another box is ok on the same cable, terrestrial is ok is there anything I can do to fix it please thank you

    Well, if some files have been damaged or God forbid, your eMMC/flash got damaged...


    MENU > Plugins > red button > uninstall tuner related stuff, then full Restart and then install them again, from the same place with green button > System plugins etc. SW update, if one is available...


    If not: re-flash.... :)

    Hi Thank you that worked, just wondering is there a fix for the channel starting at bbc2 in all channels and being far apart after doing abm scan, Ive tried hide numbers markers to yes, but that did not work thank you

    So pure2 6.3 ABM scan set to uk and all channels yes, when scan is over I go to all channels bouquet and it starts at bbc2 hd and the other channels have gaps between them. I done menu settings and changed hide number markers to yes but it does not fix it, as it does on open atv thanks

    OK, found my H9.2H, plugged it all in, did a SW update (twice), then Blindscan of 28E Astra - first it does TPs, then channels, with net searching, too...


    Results: NO GAPS in channel list after Blindscan, m8...

    I think a proper reflash is in order at your end... Do NOT change the skin!!!


    P.S. I use Ciefp's list, plus I scan terrestrial and 28E afterwards, manually/blindcan...

    Hi thank you, I have done a re flash and followed your instructions but in all channels bouquet its still the same starting at bbc2 with gaps, uk entertainment and all the other bouquets are ok, soarview has gaps also but not to bad as rte1 down to rte jr are together, I`ll just delete All channels and turn off scan, also I dont know how to use Ciefp's list in ABM

    All channels bouquet? What is that?You mean a channel list > red button? I have no such "gaps/empty spaces". What is your setup, as in dish, LNBs etc.?

    Which skin do you use?


    Which channel list do you have initially, before the blindscan?


    How do you do the blindscan? Which parameters?

    ABM = autobouquetsmaker I use it to bring in my satellite and soarview channels,, and when it does it gives me all channels, uk enter, uk music, uk kids, and so on..... So after the scan is complete I go to all channels bouquet and select it and it starts with BBC2 and has gaps... also the same thing happens on soarview bouquet as in there is gaps between channels too,


    This also happened when I done the same on open atv but when I select all channels on open atv and select menu then settings and change hide number markers to yes it solves the problem in that now all channels bouquet starts at bbc1 and no gaps. Doing this on pure2 does not fix the problem Ive tried it on estuary and onyx skins

    Probably a better solution for ya... then a blindscan and quickly add a few channels here and there, either via remote or editor...
