    Why on Earth would that be "very" important?

    That processor has the necessary power, else it wouldn't be in. Gigabit is not really needed, hence not necessary. USB2 is fine for what it is needed in there, given all the other specs...


    I have a number of boxes with it and there is no such thing as "slow motion feature when zapping".

    There is no denying that it is a very capable receiver, however, all Hi3798mv200 chips do have this issue that when you change a channel then the new channel will run as in a slow motion for 0.5-2 seconds. This is very common and have also been discussed in other threads regarding e.g. Octagon 8008 and Amiko Viper 4k etc.


    Some images have option where the screen can be blacked out for a duration to avoid this.


    Anyway, this fact is more noticeable if you change to a channel with a lot of movement and can also be seen in your video. One example is at :52 where the hand of the man is moving rather slowly before it kicks in at full speed the next second. The same with the girl at 1:03 etc. Some people don't like this while others never notice this at all. I do hope that either a fix can be made (probably it's not a bug but rather how the chip is designed) or that they release an improved chip in the future.

    M8, no offence but you should be in Guinness Book of Records... I mean, your senses are so heightened - it's wow!!!


    There is NOTHING of the sort at .52 or 1.03 that warrants your "criticism"....
