Create xml file - you have several ways, one will suit your needs, like...
Extra options
Band: Both
Transponders: All (including inactive)
System: Both
Encoding: ISO-8859-1
When done chosing > press > Download satellites.xml > there, now, better?:saint:

P.S. I'm attaching here an Asian satellites xml file from 180E - 42E, made by "Between limits" tab...
To mess with it I used 2 satellites editors: DreamSet and DB Edit.
Just one example of possibilities in DB Edit:
Start DreamBox Edit > Open > choose satellites.xml file you just created > FIle > Save As (lamedb5) > choose a folder > OK.
Tools > Update satellites.xml... > I got a message "2187 existing transponders..."
Tools > Edit satellites.xml > mess with transponders if you must...
The results of what I have done are in the second file attached here...
Another way to edit those lists is by using Notepad++ (freeware for Linux and Windows!).
I presume it is easier to create Favs etc. using DreamSet editor...
