OCTAGON SF8008 4K UHD or Gigablue Trio 4K UHD

    I'm looking to upgrade from my current Vu+ Zero, I like the idea of 4k and only need one tuner, I'd like to have Blindscan and multistream capability.


    I have picked out the SF8008 and the GigaBlue UHD Trio...has anyone got either of these and can give me a review?


    Is one better then the other and I just haven't realised?

    Apparently, Americans are not pleased with blindscan not including all the bands...


    From your declared needs and boxes I have and I tested senseless, I'd recommend Zgemma H9 Combo 4k-UHD - well, if you're in EU/UK... and for many reasons...

    -playback (all kinds of codecs) is well supported

    -you can make your backup images and/or settings

    -on- or off-line flashing

    -what you guys have to deal with there... I mean, KU band or...

    -which satellites

    -what do you need to do exactly - satellite TV, IPTV (do you have internet at all or do you have broadband or...?)?

    1)I am in Nairobi ....


    2)We have local channels on KU band intelsat 22 ....we also get a couple of good cband sats...measat 91.5,intelsat 20 ,apstar on 76.5 ,


    ku band : Amos 4w,Nilesat 7w


    3)we have internet lol...i also have a couple of iptv subscriptions and i do run kodi using real debrid on the mi box s


    4)What i need to know if the sats i mentioned will be accessible using the zgemma H9- twin/combo (they are on powervu) except for the local channels which i know will be no problem

    Blindscan might be a problem for KU band? But if you add TPs or scan manually with all the details - don't know...


    The rest should be OK, if keys are known...


    Kodi runs, IPTV is OK.
