Downloaded a skin to dm800hd se now in bootloop

    Hi i am the owner of the dreambox written in the title. i tried to change the skin (i had no skins downloaded) it rebooted after i clicked change the skin then it started giving me a green screen boot loop and i read a different thread about this but i have no idea how to ftp i tried connecting it to my pc using mini usb my computer then said unknown device. plzz help :(

    Connect DM800 to the router with ethernet cable.


    Download this FTP tool DCC-E2.


    Start DCC and click Search, this will scan your network and find the ip address for the DM800.


    Default username to connect to the DM800 will be root and password will be dreambox.


    Click Reconnect and you should get a successful connection.



    Click FTP then go into folders /usr/share/enigma2, here you should see the skin folder you downloaded that is causing the bootloop, Delete this folder and restart the DM800.


    Hopefully now your receiver will restart properly.
