  • OpenHDF 6.5 will be released soon.

    It can be reached at

    v65.hdfreaks.cc/

From the last 6.4 image it can also be flashed online for the boxes for which we are building the 6.5 (in the future this will only be built for newer boxes).

    What's different from 6.4?

For the user, this is probably the most important change so that everything works again - a password must be assigned. By default, no password is assigned to our image.

You can now assign it to us in the 6.5 image

    Menu <Settings <System <Network settings <Password settings

Of course, you can continue to assign it as usual under Telnet.

The box is more secure with this image, thanks to a lot of security updates and code optimizations. The new GCC 9.20 compiler is now being used, as are the new OpenVPN version and OpenSSL as well as the new libxcrypt2, which means that new streams will also be possible in the future.

Otherwise, it is hardly distinguishable from the previous image for the user.

In my opinion you can already flash the 6.5 on the boxes for which it is built. It

  • If you only need oscam for our openNFR 6.x you don't need to install a Softcam Feed!

Just have a look at this post and install oscam directly offline Install Oscam without feed. This is how it works

Since a Softcam Manager is already pre-installed in the openNFR, this ipk is sufficient.

You will then find the configs under / usr / keys and can adapt them to your needs

If you want to update the oscam version, simply replace the oscam via FTP in / usr / emu and restart the receiver

This can be done quickly on the command line with this one-liner:

    Code:

    Code
    wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash && opkg update && opkg install enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-stable
